We host an open-stage / open-mic at Lime Lounge most weeks. It started as a casual jam between staff and regulars and has grown into one of the more dependable live-music spots in Vang Vieng - usually a mix of travellers passing through and local musicians.
How it works
- Walk in, put your name on the list, play 2-3 songs.
- Acoustic guitar, keyboard, and mics provided. Bring anything else you want to plug in.
- No cover charge. Drinks and food on the regular menu.
- Original songs, covers, anything goes - we don't gatekeep.
When
Open-stage nights typically run during evening hours within our normal opening window (4:00 PM - 11:00 PM, every day). The schedule shifts week to week - check our Instagram @lime_lounge_vangvieng for the current week.
If you're new in town
Open-stage night is one of the easier ways to land softly in Vang Vieng if you're travelling solo. The bar fills up early, the crowd is forgiving, and the riverside seating means you can step outside if it gets loud.
